June Patches (Microsoft & Adobe)

Microsoft and Adobe have released updates to address security holes in their software.

 

Microsoft:

Five bulletins from Microsoft reportely patch 22 different vulnerabilities all identified as either Critical or Important. Most notable is MS13-047 which patches holes in IE that can be exploited remotely.  For more information, see the SANS write up.

 

Adobe:

Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player.  The udpates fix several critical vulnerabilities that could result in malicious code being run on the affected system.  Flash users can check their version and update to the latest version of Flash by going to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/.

 

We recommend that these udates be deployed as soon as possible.
